JESD Faculty + Staff Housing

The JESD Faculty & Staff Housing at Eastmoor Heights celebrated its grand opening in early August 2024! This 56-unit community in Daly City, CA, is exclusively for Jefferson Elementary School District teachers, faculty, and staff. This housing fulfills a crucial need, enabling school staff to live affordably near work. The district is committed to making a positive impact on teachers' lives, and being a leader and model that the state of CA can emulate to create the right opportunities.

At SPEC, we're proud to contribute to the community by providing a Berliner IKO S playground, giving the children of JESD housing a clean and fun place to play.

Priscilla Patalinghug Administrative Assistant to the Maintenance Department talked about the lack of safety at her old living location she now says  “The JESD truly serves its purpose it provides us with affordable place, a sturdy roof over our heads and more importantly giving us the chance to be closer to our work and thereby being able to continue serving the students and the parents in the community better. This project is not just about housing, it makes us feel what truly home is about.”
